We teamed up with Sony during this year’s Tribeca Film Festival to present Cinematographers in Focus, a collaboration that placed the spotlight on five master DPs. Join us later this month for drinks, conversation and a free screening, as we continue continue this successful series by honoring a new group of visual artists who are redefining what it means to be the person with their eye at the viewfinder. Saturday Night Live film editor and TribecaFilm.com columnist Adam Epstein will host our newest group of Cinematographers in Focus, including cinematographer David McLain, to explore the challenges of shooting on location in small teams and the best approaches to getting a story told on camera. The talk will be followed by an exclusive preview screening of Bounce, a globe-spanning documentary shot by David McLain exploring the ancient question: why do we play ball?
