Slate is looking for an executive producer to run their small and highly energetic video operation, which produces award-winning original video and aggregates other great digital video. They’re willing to consider many different approaches to Internet video, as long as what they post has Slate’s signature intelligence and wit. The executive producer will set the video strategy, assign and produce videos, collaborate with print writers and editors, and work closely with the publisher to take advantage of advertising opportunities and develop commercially successful projects. Previous experience in digital video is essential. Send a résumé and a cover letter suggesting the outlines of a Slate video strategy.
