Sinatra, Dean, Hepburn - photographer Sid Avery captured some of the biggest names in old Hollywood. Avery was the founder of mptv images, an agency specializing in documenting silver screen legends. A new exhibition of Avery's work will open at the Design Matters Gallery in Los Angeles next month.
The photos will be on public display for one day only, Dec. 7, 2013, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the first celebrity photo Avery took. The photos will then travel to other locations around the U.S.
